Speaker bio
J. Wesley Hisaw
is a shareholder with Holland & Hisaw, where his practice areas include domestic law, personal injury, product liability, corporate law, civil rights lawsuits, estate law, and employment law. He was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 litigation lawyers for the state of Mississippi by the American Society of Legal Advocates and the National Trial Lawyer's Association. Mr. Hisaw was also named a Top Ten Attorney for the state of Mississippi in the area of personal injury by the National Association of Personal Injury Attorneys, and listed as a Premier 100 Attorney by the American Academy of Trial Attorneys. He is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Sixth circuits, Northern and Southern districts of Mississippi and the Western District of Tennessee. Mr. Hisaw is also listed as a Rising Star with Super Lawyers. He earned his undergraduate degree and his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi.

Raeann Bromark
is currently employed as a litigation paralegal at Lerner, Guarino & Foodman LLC. She is a graduate of the Norwalk Community College paralegal program in Norwalk, Connecticut. Ms. Bromark has been in the legal field for more than 25 years, always as a paralegal with a wide variety of specialties, including real estate (commercial and residential), corporate, intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights, and franchising), in addition to appellate. She has worked in both Connecticut and New York, and has been very active in the paralegal profession. Ms. Bromark is on the Legal Advisory Council for Connecticut Community College. She has also been involved at the national level, where she currently is on the NFPA (National Federation of Paralegal Associations) Ethics Committee and Legislative Review Committee. Ms. Bromark is a member of the Fairfield County Bar Association and co-chair of the Paralegals Committee. In addition, she is a board member with the New York City Paralegal Association, holding the following positions; policy and procedures coordinator, membership chairperson and the ESAPA representative. Ms. Bromark was presented with an honorable mention in the Legal Assistant Today Rookie of the Year Contest. That same year, she presented a workshop on Pro Bono at the NFPA Annual Conference in Newport, Rhode Island. Ms. Bromark has been recently featured in a contracts textbook published by Prentice Hall. She presented at the Connecticut Bar Association annual meeting on the subject of social media. Ms. Bromark also presented an Institute for Paralegal Education seminar titled Trial Basics for Paralegals, and presented at the NYCPA CLE Trial Bootcamp. This past year, she was one of Paralegal Gateway’s Paralegal Superstars. In addition to all of her legal affiliations, Ms. Bromark also volunteers as a court appointed guardian ad litem with CASA/CIP (Children In Placement) in Connecticut. She earned her A.S. degree from Norwalk Community College and her B.S. degree from Mt. Ida College.

Stephen Kopko
, Esq. is an attorney of the Anzalone Law Offices, LLC in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania where he focuses on plaintiff's personal injury, including injuries resulting from motor-vehicle accidents, slip/trip and fall events, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Association of Justice, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, Lackawanna County Bar Association, and Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association. Mr. Kopko is 2008 magna cum laude graduate of King's College with a degree in political science, where he received the John F. Kennedy award for having the highest GPA in political science. He then received his J.D. degree from the Syracuse University College of Law. After graduating from law school, Mr. Kopko worked as a volunteer public defender in Lackawanna County and then at a local law firm. Prior to working at Anzalone Law, he worked for a local law firm that specialized in representing insurance companies in personal injury matters. Mr. Kopko has represented insurance companies at each stage of litigation, including at trial and at the Pennsylvania Superior Court. In 2023, he decided to change his career path and use his skills and knowledge to benefit victims in personal injury matters. Mr. Kopko's prior experience provides him with unique insight into how the insurance industry operates, which he uses to help his clients. In 2019, he was named to the Top 20 under 40 by the Northeast Business Journal. This honor recognized Mr. Kopko as one of the top professionals in all of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He was one or only two attorneys honored that year. In addition to being a litigator, Mr. Kopko has also published articles analyzing civil litigation issues. These articles have appeared in the Pennsylvania Law Weekly and the Pennsylvania Lawyer magazine. He resides in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania with wife, Julia, and two daughters, Imogene and Ruby. Mr. Kopko is active in his community serving as a co-chairperson of the Our Lady of the Snows Country Bazaar. He is also a lector for Our Lady of the Snows. Mr. Kopko also volunteers his time as a pro-bono solicitor for the Abington Area Joint Recreation Board.

Miranda Hanley
is a partner with Smith Welch Webb & White LLC. She has a litigation practice specializing in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation and complex civil litigation. Ms. Hanley has extensive trial and jury trial experience, and regularly litigates in both state and federal courts. She has also worked on numerous appeals in the Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Georgia, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Hanley earned her B.A. degree from Kennesaw State University and her J.D. degree from Faulkner University, Jones School of Law.
