Marlon Primes
is a partner in the Cleveland office of Brennan, Manna & Diamond, LLC. He is a distinguished former assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Primes has transitioned to serve as co-chair of BMD's business and tort litigation practice, and represents companies across the U.S. in high-stakes litigation. He has handled a wide variety of complex civil litigation in state, federal and appellate courts, including jury trials and appellate actions. Mr. Primes earned his B.S. degree from Ohio University and his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Dafney Dubuisson Stokes
is an operations counsel with Forthright. She concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, creditor's rights, bankruptcy and automotive finance. Ms. Dubuisson Stokes has successfully defended Fortune 500 corporate clients in connection with Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices, Truth in Lending and bankruptcy litigation on a national level. Prior to a career in the law, she worked for almost a decade in the social service sector advocating for youth in specialized foster care placement. Ms. Dubuisson Stokes has since redirected her passion for advocacy by developing strong relationships with her clients, vigorously representing their interests, and tirelessly engaging within the legal community in promotion of diversity and inclusion in the profession. She presently serves as the co-chair of the Emerging Leaders Initiative within NAMWOLF (National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms), which aims to achieve equity in the legal profession through collaboration between law firms and the corporate sector. Ms. Dubuisson Stokes is also a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Ethics Committee (District IIIB) and on the Board of the Marks Cares, Inc. in Montclair, New Jersey, with a mission to eradicate homelessness throughout New Jersey. She has also been recognized by NJBiz as a 2023 Leader in the Law. Ms. Dubuisson Stokes is licensed to practice law in New Jersey (2013), New York (2018), Ohio (2022) and Pennsylvania (2012). She earned her B.A. degree, with honors, from Boston College and her J.D. degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law.

Whittney Clark Thompson
was born and raised in Priceville, Alabama. She attended the University of Alabama, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in dance and criminal justice and graduated with honors. While Ms. Clark Thompson attended UA, she was active as a dance ambassador, the historian of the Dance Honor Society, a performer in the Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre and Dance Alabama, competed in Intramural Volleyball, and was involved in the local community by participating in READ Tuscaloosa, a program that mentors children in local elementary and middle schools. Law school took Ms. Clark Thompson to Montgomery, Alabama, where she attended Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. In addition to academic pursuits, she was active in student activities and the local community. Ms. Clark Thompson was the Honor Court Chief Justice, participated in Trial and Moot Court, was the Alumni Coordinator on the Board of Advocates' Executive Board, was a finalist in the Third Annual Southern Classic Trial Competition, an editor on Law Review, a member of Women's Legal Society, delivered Meals on Wheels to people on and off campus, and a member of several other organizations. She has a range of legal experience. Ms. Clark Thompson has worked at New Beginnings Family Law, P.C. since 2017. Through her time at law school, she worked for Frank Truncali specializing in elder law and estate planning; for Richard White, specializing in family law and criminal defense; and worked in the elder law clinic specializing in pro bono estate work for the Montgomery community. Ms. Clark Thompson has worked in law firms that have dealt with a variety of legal issues from property rights, criminal defense, family law, and estate planning. However, her primary focus is family law. Ms. Clark Thompson enjoys working closely with individuals in difficult situations to make a positive impact on others.
