Speaker bio
Katie Brown
is the associate dean for information resources at Charleston School of Law. Her research and scholarship interests are in the areas of intellectual property, acting skills for lawyers, law and literature, management, and a variety of legal research related topics. Ms. Brown has taught specialized, beginner, and advanced legal research courses and seminars on legal technology for practice, art of advocacy, and contracts. She is a very active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). Ms. Brown has participated in a variety of leadership roles throughout the association chapters and special interest sections. She earned her B.F.A. degree from DePaul University, her master's degree in library and information science from the Drexel University iSchool, and her J.D. degree from Seattle University School of Law. In 2024, Ms. Brown also received the Inaugural Technology & Ethics Award from the Association of American Law Schools Section on Technology, Law and Legal Education (AALS).

Stephen Bresset
is a partner with Bresset & Santora, LLC, where he has practiced commercial and bankruptcy law and litigation throughout Pennsylvania and the region for more than 30 years. During his time in practice, Mr. Bresset has represented debtors in more than 50 Chapter 11 proceedings in Pennsylvania; as well as creditors, creditor committees, and trustees at virtually every level of bankruptcy proceedings, and debtors in more than 1,000 Chapter 7 proceedings. He is admitted to the state courts of Pennsylvania, the three U.S. District Courts in Pennsylvania, the three bankruptcy courts, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Bresset has always been an active member of his community and the bar associations of which he is a member. He has served as an office holder in the Wayne County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as well as a committee chair in both associations. Mr. Bresset has been a featured speaker at numerous seminars throughout Pennsylvania in litigation, commercial law and bankruptcy law topics. He earned his B.A. degree from Temple University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Widener University School of Law.

Erin Hill
, JD, LL.M., MPM, CIPM, CFC, CRP, is the VP of Strategic Projects, Project Management Office (PMO) Director, Paralegal Program Chair, and Professor. Professor Hill is a technology pioneer who created an AI-focused Paralegal Certificate for Jessup+AI, one of the first AI-assisted learning platforms. She is a member of the Higher Education IT Strategy Leadership Council, working on white papers, policy recommendations, and events. Ms. Hill's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and management, a Juris Doctorate, an LL.M. (post-doctorate) in International Tax and Financial Services, and a Wealth Management Certificate. She maintains active involvement in several community service organizations, such as paralegal curriculum boards and interview panels, as a pro bono advisor. She is a Core Registered Paralegal who mentors students with career development and provides certification workshops. Professor Hill has also assisted several students in obtaining paralegal scholarships with the SVPA and NFPA.

T. Kevin Knight
is a partner in the law offices of DSK Law. He is board-certified as a trial lawyer by both The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Over the course of his practice, Mr. Knight has generally focused on personal injury litigation. He earned his B.S.B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law.
