Ms. LaTourette represents buyers, sellers, lenders, landlords and tenants in all aspects of such transactions. She has also earned a reputation for producing exceptional results in complex title research, title examination, and title insurance matters. Ms. LaTourette also acts as a Georgia-licensed agent for national title insurance companies and a third-party escrow agent often advising on and facilitating deals involving multiple parties-in-interest and millions of dollars in investment capital. In addition to her real estate work, She represents clients in sophisticated business matters including entity formation, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and wind-up matters. With more than a decade and a half of title insurance and resolution experience, Ms. Giles is well-versed in handling all aspects and stages of the litigation of real property disputes. She routinely represents property owners, lenders and their insurers when faced with adverse claims that might affect title to their real property. Ms. Giles has experience litigating disputes concerning easements, property boundary lines, lien subrogation, lien priority and clouds on title. This experience includes litigating on behalf of the insurer when there is a dispute regarding coverage or breach of contract claims. In addition, Ms. Giles has litigated contested foreclosures and evictions for both lenders and post-foreclosure purchasers. Mr. Lanni has been a CLE lecturer for the National Business Institute for various programs concerning issues on landlord/tenant, foreclosure, real estate purchase agreements and title issues, and civil litigation. He was admitted to the bar of the State of New York in 1997. Mr. Lanni has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern districts of New York, as well as before the U.S. Federal Court of Claims.
