Fritz V Wilson is a partner at Best, Vanderlaan & Harrington. He also focuses on defending institutional clients in commercial litigation and employment claims.He is an experienced trial lawyer who has successfully resolved multiple complex and high value cases through trial or dispositive motions. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal court.  He has also negotiated numerous favorable settlements on behalf of the firm’s insurance and business clients. He was recognized as an Emerging Lawyer by the Leading Lawyers publication in 2015. This recognition is determined by surveys conducted by Leading Lawyers across the state.  An Emerging Lawyer is under the age of 40 or has been practicing less than 10 years and who shows promise to be one of the future’s leading lawyers.  Less than 2% of lawyers in Illinois are selected to receive the designation of Emerging Lawyer. He  obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University and obtained his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. While in law school, he participated in the George Mason Moot Court Board and Trial Advocacy Association, and was a finalist in George Mason’s 2002-2003 Moot Court Competition.  He also received an award for legal writing.  Prior to entering law school, he interned at the White House in Washington, D.C. He is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court - Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and various other professional associations.
