New Mexico Paralegal Continuing Legal Education Rules and Regulations
Yes. To work as a paralegal, one must meet the guideline of Rule 20-115.
Members of the State Bar of New Mexico Paralegal Division
12.00 hours each year, including 1.00 ethics hour.

No later than January 31 of each year, the CLE Tracking and Membership Committees shall review annual renewal and CLE certification forms and notify members who are not in compliance.
A minimum of 7 credit hours must be taken as live programs.
A maximum of 5 credit hours may be taken as self study programs.
The following topics may or may not be approved for credit. If approved, only 1 hour of CLE credit will be awarded: law practice management, technology, and computer application programs.
IPE programs are reviewed and approved by CLE Provider(s) Approvals Subcommittee or the State Bar MCLE Board.
Each member must report all Division-sponsored and non-Division-sponsored CLE activities at the time of annual membership renewal. Membership renewal requires filing the renewal Application, providing evidence of compliance, and paying the appropriate dues as established from time to time by the Board.
Individual CLE submissions throughout the year are not accepted.

Yes. New Mexico paralegals are allowed credit for attorney CLE approved courses.
