Speaker bio
Mary C. Huff
is a partner with Blankingship & Keith, PC. She primarily practices domestic relations, but also general civil litigation in District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and Maryland. Ms. Huff utilizes a client-centric approach and focuses on assisting clients to obtain solutions for their unique family law situations. She practices in all areas of family law including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, modification actions, termination actions, appeals, protective orders, retirement orders, and the drafting and negotiation of various agreements, including prenuptial agreements or premarital agreements. Ms. Huff is comfortable resolving matters through all legal avenues to deliver the right results for her clients. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland. Continually recognized by her peers, Ms. Huff has been named a Virginia Super Lawyers Rising Star and a District of Columbia Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2020, 2019, 2017 and 2016. She is an active member of the Fairfax County Bar Association, currently serving as the Family Law Section co-chair and a moderator of continuing legal education seminars. Ms. Huff previously served as a director of the Young Lawyers Section, volunteer coordinator for the annual Fairfax Law Foundation 5K Race, chair of the 2019 Color of Justice Program and as a mentor for the Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center. She is also a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Ms. Huff is a graduate of the American University Washington College of Law and the University of North Carolina, holding Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and political science.

Kimberly A. Skiba-Rokosky
is a shareholder with the law firm of Shulman Rogers PA. She focuses her practice on family law and fiduciary matters in Virginia and Maryland. Ms. Skiba-Rokosky is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Fairfax County Bar Association. She earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude with distinction, from Boston University; and her J.D. degree from the University of Richmond. Ms. Skiba-Rokosky has been voted a Super Lawyer or Rising Star in Virginia since 2011, and has enjoyed an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 2014.

is a partner at Whitbeck Bennett, where she focuses her practice on family law issues of divorce, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support (alimony), and equitable distribution of property. She is recognized in The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers. Ms. Williams is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association (Family Law Section), Fairfax County Circuit Court Committee, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She earned her B.S. and B.A. degrees from San Diego State University, and her J.D. degree from California Western School of Law.

Vanessa M. Durham
joined Goldberg Simpson, LLC as a partner in 2025 after gaining extensive litigation experience in family, criminal and civil practices. Her practice at the firm focuses on family law including divorce, child custody, mediation, guardian ad litem and parents’ attorney in child abuse and neglect cases, domestic violence, and child support matters. Ms. Durham gained significant experience in these and other areas of the law during her more than 15 year stint in private practice. Prior to her time in private practice, she gained substantial trial experience as an assistant Commonwealth’s attorney for the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in Jefferson County on both the General and Narcotics Division trial teams. Additionally, Ms. Durham acquired meaningful corporate and regulatory affairs experience while working for a pharmaceutical company where she ensured FDA compliance and led corporate mediation between marketing and health care compliance. She graduated magna cum laude (political science and philosophy) from the University of Louisville (1990) before graduating from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law with her J.D. degree in 1994. She is admitted to the Kentucky and Indiana bars, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for Kentucky’s Eastern and Western districts in (1996), as well as being admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit (1996).

is an equity partner with Udall Shumway and is a certified specialist in family law. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Utah and his J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law. Mr. Everts is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, board-certified advocate in family trial law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, judge pro-tem Maricopa County Superior Court, and member of the State Bar of Arizona and Utah State Bar. He is admitted to practice in Arizona state and federal courts, Utah state and federal courts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
