Speaker bio
George S. Peek
is a shareholder with von Briesen & Roper, s.c. in the firm's trusts and estates section. He assists clients in a broad range of estate planning and administration services, including estate and trust administration, preparation of estate planning documents, and representations in guardianships/conservatorships, and is a frequent presenter in these areas. Mr. Peek deals with estate and probate tax issues. In addition, he has litigated several complex estate planning issues, including inheritance disputes. Beyond his estate planning practice, Mr. Peek counsels both for profit and not-for-profit businesses on organization, succession, reorganization and real estate. His experience includes contracting, corporate governance, and risk management, and is premised on gaining an understanding of his clients' financial and non-financial goals. Mr. Peek serves as a panel arbitrator for the State Bar of Wisconsin Panel of Fee Arbitrators for Wis. Stats. Ch. 788 disputes. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School. Mr. Peek is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, American Bar Association, Seventh Circuit Bar Association and the Milwaukee Bar Association. Mr. Peek is admitted to practice in Wisconsin, Illinois, U.S. District Court Eastern and Western districts of Wisconsin, Western District of Michigan and the U.S. Court of Appeals Seventh Circuit.

Robyn Hicks-Guinn
is the principal at Hicks-Guinn Law in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she counsels individuals, small business owners, and families in estate planning, business succession planning and guardianships. Ms. Hicks-Guinn also advises businesses as general corporate counsel. She is a current board member for the Mecklenburg County Bar, the immediate past chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar Estates Division and has served on numerous committees bars, boards and committess in the private and public sector. Ms. Hicks-Guinn earned her B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina and U.S. District Court for the Western District.

R. Lance Pruitt
provides consultation and solutions to clients in the areas of estate planning, asset protection and business succession planning. Prior to his current employment, Mr. Pruitt practiced law for several years, concentrating his practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, tax litigation, estate administration and corporate law. He was previously an adjunct professor at Tusculum College and Tennessee Wesleyan University, where he taught business law for several years. Mr. Pruitt earned his B.S. degree from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law, and his LL.M. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

is a partner in the law firm of Hale | Wood pllc, where he practices in the areas of tax, business, estate planning, wills, trust, probate, and real estate. He is admitted to practice before the Utah Supreme Court, Federal District Court of Utah and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Jones is a member of the Utah State Bar. He is also a licensed certified public accountant. Mr. Jones earned his B.A. degree and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Utah; and his Masters of Prof. Accountancy degree from Weber State University.
