Michael P. Del Bueno
is a partner in the Glen Allen law firm of Whitt, Del Bueno & Clark, P.C. He has been an attorney for more than 25 years and practices in the areas of insurance defense and workers' compensation law. Mr. Del Bueno is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. He earned his B.A. degree from Muhlenberg College and his J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.

M. Ann McElroy
is of counsel at Drew, Eckl & Farnham. She earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia and her J.D. degree from Georgia State University College of Law. Ms. McElroy practices law specializing in the defense of employers and insurers in workers' compensation claims in Georgia and Tennessee. Her clients include county governments, insurance companies and large-scale claims management companies, to name a few. Ranked by her peers among an elite group of attorneys who earn the AV Preeminent Rating, Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review, Ms. McElroy has prevailed in hearings in front of various administrative law judges, as well as all appellate levels of workers' compensation claims in Georgia. She has even taken part in oral argument before the Georgia Court of Appeals. Before joining Drew Eckl, Ms. McElroy practiced workers' compensation defense for over 17 years. Prior to focusing on workers' compensation defense, she clerked in a medical malpractice firm and practiced at a criminal defense and plaintiff firm for four years. Ms. McElroy has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2002 and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2008.

Dalton L. Hooks, Jr.
is a partner at Hooks Meng & Clement. He represents clients in connection with employment related disputes in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. Mr. Hooks has more than 24 years of experience in occupational safety and workers' compensation law in Nevada, and was formerly the chief administrative officer of the Nevada OSHA Consultation Section (SCATS). As a former compliance officer with the Nevada OSHA program, he conducted inspections in both general industry and construction settings including accident and fatality investigations. Mr. Hooks is an experienced trainer and former adjunct professor at UNLV. His unique background and training make him an effective and knowledgeable advocate. He is a member of various local bar associations. Mr. Hooks is a frequent CLE instructor in workers' compensation courses. He advises clients in various areas of employment law with a focus on workers' compensation, and occupational safety and health. Mr. Hooks earned his B.S. degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his J.D. degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law.

John J. Castaneda
is the owner of Castaneda Law Office and has 37 years of experience handling Illinois workers' compensation claims. During his career, he has briefed and argued cases before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, circuit courts, and the Appellate Court of Illinois. Mr. Castaneda's leadership position in the field of workers' compensation includes serving as past president - and first Hispanic president - of the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. He also served as a director of the association, and is past editor of the organization's newsletter. Mr. Castaneda is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice. He is an Illinois Super Lawyer, described by the publisher as "a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement." Mr. Castaneda has been listed in Best Lawyers in America, "the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession." In addition, Martindale-Hubbell, "the authoritative resource for information on the worldwide legal profession," has rated Mr. Castaneda AV® (very high to preeminent) for both legal ability and professional ethics. He received his B.A. from Loyola University of Illinois and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota, where he also served on the editorial staff of the Law and Inequality Journal. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Castaneda has lectured for the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and National Business Institute.

Wendy S. Smith
is the managing partner of Morgan Akins & Jackson of the NE, and director of the Workers' Compensation and General Litigation Practice groups. She is responsible for defending insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators in workers' compensation, general liability and subrogation matters. Ms. Smith is a member of the New Jersey State, New York State and Pennsylvania bar associations, as well as a certified arbitrator of the Philadelphia Bar Association. She serves as judge pro tem for Philadelphia County. Ms. Smith is a member of the Alexander F. Barbieri Workers' Compensation Inn of Court. She earned her B.S. degree from Albright College and her J.D. degree from Roger Williams University School of Law.

Christine Hummel
is the president and founder of Hummel Consultation Services, a national legal consultation practice specializing in the application of the Medicare Secondary Payer Act to workers' compensation, liability and no-fault cases. She is an active attorney with licensure in the state of Colorado. With more than 25 years of experience in Medicare compliance, Ms. Hummel is a published author and popular speaker on a wide array of topics related to Medicare compliance. She is a member of the American Bar Association (Health Law Section) and Colorado Bar Association. Ms. Hummel's legal experience work includes Medicaid, probate and elder law. She donates a significant amount of time volunteering with the Federal Park Service, giving presentations on the roles of women during the American War of Independence. Ms. Hummel earned her B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law.

Juan M. Sclafani, Jr.
is an associate attorney at Craig P. Kenny & Associates in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he dedicates his practice to representing injured workers in claims arising under the Nevada Industrial Insurance Act. A Las Vegas native in every meaningful sense, Mr. Sclafani was born in Santa Clara, California, and has called Las Vegas home since the age of four, a city he has been proud to serve for over thirty-five years. He earned his bachelor’s in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas,and his J.D. degree from Liberty University School of Law. Following his admission to practice, Mr. Sclafani began his legal career as an associate attorney at another local law firm representing injured workers. He subsequently served as anaAssociate attorney at GGRM Law Firm, where he developed a strong foundation in workers’ compensation law and litigation. Mr. Sclafani later became a senior attorney at Hooks Meng & Clement, continuing to deepen his expertise in Nevada workers’ compensation matters. Throughout his career, he has gained valuable experience on both the claimant and insurer sides of workers’ compensation practice. That dual perspective provides him with a comprehensive understanding of how the system operates, andMr. Sclafani now applies that insight exclusively on behalf of injured workers at Craig P. Kenny & Associates. Beyond his legal practice, he serves in a leadership role with a local non-profit organization committed to serving the greater Las Vegas community.
