Alan S. Funk
is a partner with Wechsler Becker, LLP in Seattle, a ten attorney firm exclusively practicing family law. He has been practicing family law since 1992, and has acted as a Title 26 guardian ad litem and a volunteer court appointed special advocate. Mr. Funk's presentations include: "Working with Pro Se Litigants as Opposing Party," at the WSTLA Family Law & Criminal Law CLE (11/30/06); "Evaluating the Evaluator; Preparation for and Deposition of the Parenting Evaluator," at KCBA Family Law Section Hot Topics CLE (10/5/07); "Advanced Family Law Practice for Paralegals;" "Drafting Child Support Orders and Worksheets," (8/14/08); "Financial Settlement Strategies for Your Divorce Clients;" "Getting A Divorce Case Off to the Right Foot," (12/11/08); "Legal Strategies for Coping with Parents Who Alienate," (2010); "Parenting Disputes from A to Z: In the Best Interests of the Child;" "Ethical Considerations," (3/3/2010); "Effective Use of Parenting Evaluations in Divorce," (2011); "Discovery of Electronic Records, How to Discover, Produce and Review Electronic Data;" and, "Tools and Tips for Dealing with New Technologies," (2009). He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Washington and his J.D. degree from Willamette's College of Law. Mr. Funk is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the State Bar of California. His volunteer work includes Eastside Legal Clinic, an arbitrator on King County Mandatory Arbitration Panel, King County Superior Court Settlement Conference Master, an instructor for a King County "How to Finish Your Divorce" class, and a member of the King County Bar Association Courts and Judiciary Committee, and the Judicial Evaluations Committee. Mr. Funk is past secretary and then member of the King County Bar Association's Board of Trustees, past secretary of the King County Bar Association Family Law Section, past vice-chair of King County Bar Association Family Law Section, and past chairman of King County Bar Association Family Law Section.

Lynndolyn T. Mitchell
is the owner of the Law Office of Lynndolyn T. Mitchell P.C. in Rockville, Maryland. She has been representing clients from all economic and social backgrounds in juvenile, family, misdemeanor criminal, and traffic matters in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia for more than 30 years. Ms. Mitchell has served as a senior assistant public defender in Virginia Beach in the Juvenile Division and Felony Trial Division, and deputy public defender in the Juvenile Division of the Riverside County Public Defender's Office. She has represented juveniles in delinquency and dependency matters in California, Virginia and Maryland. Ms. Mitchell served an assistant adjunct professor for the University of Maryland Global Campus (Formerly UMUC) in the disciplines of paralegal studies and criminal justice. She has extensive experience representing military families in all aspects of family law matters. Ms. Mitchell is a member of Maryland State Bar Association's Solo Small Firm Section, served as co-chair of the Education Law Section, and has served as a member of the School Board at Montrose Christian School in Rockville. She is admitted to practice in Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland and Montgomery County. Ms. Mitchell earned her B.A. degree from the University of Irvine and her J.D. degree from Antioch School of Law, Washington, D.C. She has handled pro bono education law matters for the Maryland Disability Law Center.

Adam Z. Harness
is with Harness Legal Services. He is a law librarian with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Before working at the Charleston School of Law, Mr. Harness was a Title IV-D attorney with the State of Tennessee. He handled over 400 cases per month and previously ran his own paperless law firm litigating juvenile and family law cases throughout East Tennessee involving juvenile delinquency, termination of parental rights, severe abuse, and dependency and neglect cases using various technologies, including Microsoft Outlook, to keep track of client information and case details. Mr. Harness has over a decade of experience using Microsoft Office for both personal and legal purposes. He earned his B.A., M.L.I.S and M.P.P.A. degrees from the University of Tennessee; his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law; and his LL.M. degree in law and government specializing in law, politics and legislation from American University Washington College of Law.

is a partner in the law offices of DSK Law. He is board-certified as a trial lawyer by both The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Over the course of his practice, Mr. Knight has generally focused on personal injury litigation. He earned his B.S.B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law.
