Alfonso Vilaboa

is a junior partner and international business lawyer at Day & Associates, LLC. He has experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, finance, and antitrust, and has advised a wide-range of public and private companies both in the U.S. and abroad. Furthermore, Mr. Vilaboa's experience includes representing energy and infrastructure clients, where he has participated in transactions involving the financing, construction and operation of renewable energy generation facilities (solar and wind). He has also counseled companies in the finance sector, including in the private placement of equity securities, project-finance structured facilities, and debt workouts. Mr. Vilaboa has advised companies in the retail sector in several acquisitions, from drafting and negotiating letters of intent, performing due diligence, and drafting and negotiating of stock and asset purchase agreements. Mr. Vilaboa holds a J.D. and a Masters in Contractual Law Firm from the Catholic University of Uruguay, as well as an LLM in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University, where he graduated with honors, and a Private Equity Certificate from Wharton and the Wall Street Prep. He is licensed to practice law in New York, the District of Columbia, and in Uruguay.
