He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas, and has represented clients at the trial court and appellate court levels, and in arbitrations before the National Association of Securities Dealers (predecessor to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Barjenbruch has litigated and resolved hundreds of cases, including claims for possession of real estate, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, employment contracts, fraud, breach of contract, personal injury, workers' compensation, and shareholder liability. He has won judgments for plaintiffs in trial court and defended those judgments to appellate courts. Ms. Marty earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Hofstra University, and her J.D. degree from Capital University Law School. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Anne Taylor of the Franklin County Municipal Court and went on to work for the Columbus City Attorney's Office in the Prosecution and Police Legal divisions. Ms. Marty was a member of the International Criminal Court Moot Court Team and served as an alumni relations coordinator on the moot court executive board. As an undergraduate, she interned for the Hon. Denny Chinn of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York.
